I first went to the Gold Cup in with 1957 or 1958, my Dad isn't sure. The whole concept of being able to see one's heroes at such close quarters enthralled me. It has been fascinating to watch the, sometimes, rapid development of motorsport over the years. Each year held surprises and wonderment. I was privileged to have been part of this era. It isn’t perfect, the pictures aren’t as big as I would have liked, nor could I afford to publish in colour. I hope that doesn’t detract from it too much. £20 + p&p
